Character & Scripture with Inspired Stamps

Good Morning beautiful people!

I am back once again to share with you a creation made using

For today's post we were asked to capture both a Inspired Stamps character and some scripture in our creation(s).  As we know, I {love} Christmas so I could not resist having a play with the Nativity Set!

Another adorable set from Inspired Stamps! I had so much fun making this card.  Originally I was trying for a little C&S card, but we all know I can not leave white space alone and I eventually over embellished and wella, this little beauty was the finished result, and I am so happy with it!  The little baby Jesus I colored with TH Distress Inks, the ribbon I raided from my stash and the bead spray was handmade.

Faith @ Christmas Card Challenges

Mornings all :)
It's that time again, time for a new challenge at

This week the challenge is ...
 Faith
This is such a beautiful theme, especially for Christmas cards!

I took this challenge with a leap of faith as well and had a play with 'purple' and we all know 'purple' and I don't normally 'mojo' well together lol but mojo pulled through for me :)

Yep, more of those Kaisercraft Rub On's :$ Least they are getting used, though I did splurge and used a new one for the sentiment :$  But the sentiment and the image just go so well together that I just could not resist.  I have also repeated a layout from a few weeks back as it just looked magical and with the purple's, kraft and browns I think it looks pretty magical. The flower is Kaisercraft and a left over I found in my stash along with the ribbon and the pins and bead spray is handmade.

As always the girls and I would love if you played along with us at
The challenge theme is optional, the only real rule is you must create a new Christmas Holiday, winter or Hanukkah card / creation.

Shape Up @ MAWTT

Mornings all :)

It is my turn to host the challenge this week at

And this week I am challenging you all to ..
Shape Up!
Anything but square!

I have been dying to make a butterfly shaped card so this seemed like the perfect opportunity to knock it off my  'to do list'.

Oh My! this turned out better than I had expected or even thought possible!  Lots and lots of dry embossing on this flutterby along with loads of my new Stampin Up Dazzling Diamonds (can you tell it just dazzled me and I could not get enough of it), what can I say, I'm a girl who loves her bling and this stuff goes a LONG way!  All that dazzling did not even make a dint in the jar, got to love that!  The Bon Voyage stamp is a rubber cling that I've had since Noah built the ark and never used, the flower is Prima and a 'last one left kind' from my stash  along with the pearl stamina's and the gold leaves under the flower.  And as I love the shabby look, TH Distress inks were also used in play on this.

We have a great prize this week to play along for from
who has given us this great Christmas Goodies pack!
Adorable prize! and some more stuff added to my 'want list'

The girls have all stepped up to the challenge this week with some outstanding inspiration so drop on past
and check out the talented girls and share the love!
I so would love to see you playing along with us this week too!

Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)

Good morning beautiful people!

I had great fun playing along to this fortnights challenge ...
Love <3
There is also 3 wonderful sponsor prizes to play along for!

My Heart Pieces

Delicious Doodles
And ...
Nauhataivas.

I was given a gorgeous image from My Heart Pieces to play with this week and this is what I created.

It always amazing when I have finished making something to see where and how the creativity of a single item can start and end.  Somedays I can pick up a piece of paper or print out an image and then things just roll and suddenly you have a finished card.  Other days it can be from looking at a photo or picking up a simple flower, ribbon or piece of lace.
Today's creations stemmed from finding this gorgeous lace hidden in 1 of several boxes in the garage that I am still yet to sort, go through, file, organize and put away.  I opened the box, my eyes found the lace, my hands grabbed for it and then it was all over, back inside to my craft room I headed before closing the box back up and popping it back on top of the other 5 that are still waiting to be 'sorted'. lol
Ben scoffed at me the moment I walked back inside the door and saw what I had in my hands, but my theory is you have to strike while Mojo is hot and Mojo was on a mission with this lace and he had his mind set on this card!  I went backwards and forwards with embellishing the flower in the middle but eventually settled on just the one flower with the pins and the pearls.  It was mighty tempting to add more flowers but I wanted to keep the focus on the lace and keep the card clean enough that each little detail all got their own moment in the spotlight too.

Anyway's I am sure are all tired of my rambling lol
The All about the Vinatge girls and I would love you to play along with us so please come join the challenge and check out the gorgeous works the girls have to inspire you all!

I look forward to seeing you there!
