Tag 6 @ 12 Weeks Of Christmas Tags - Funkie Junkie Style

Fabulous Friday all!

I've been playing in my craft room again!
Last week I made my 1st tag for the
and I have a few tags to catch up on to get up to date!

So today I worked on Tag # 6
(I know, I am so out of order but you got to go where Mojo takes you!)
I loved the red and white color combo of Linda's tag and all those delicious bows, they just looked so delicate too!  So the inspiration for my tag drew from those main factors.

My tag on the left over here ....             Linda the Funkie Junkies Tag here

I am feeling very 'floral' today so had so use the snow licked red and white roses.

I just adore the stamped script background so for this tag.

Side view, there is brown wood fibers in there, some Prima goodness & pearls.

I really reached into my stash for this one!  I've stamped script in a very old red ink pad from Kaisercraft (they discontinued making ink pads over a year ago, so that is how old it is!) Still works though so I am one happy crafter lol  The roses I have had since forever & I gave them a new life with a touch of Stampin Up's Dazzling Diamonds.  The reindeer paper along the bottom I raided from my scraps stash, I know it was a Kaisercraft paper from I think one of the 2011 Christmas collections.  And the red blingy twirly and bead thingy I raided from the Prima precious stash.

Now, Linda is offering up the chance to win a yummy delicious prize from
Sooo love her shop and all her laces and delicate little embellishments!

So to have your chance of winning you have to play along in all 12 of the tags!
I am only 2 tags down!  And have another 6 to catch!
So I'm off to get inspired for my third!

Wishing you all a fabby weekend!
Thanks for dropping in to see me :)

Chipboard @ Christmas Card Challenges

Mornings all :)
It is that time ... time for a new challenge at

This week the challenge is ...
Chipboard

This challenge was just screaming at me to dig out the Kaisercraft Chipboard Stocking bunting that I brought 2 years ago and have never 'gotten around to' starting, let along finishing!
It is a rather large piece when finished and strung all together.  And I have customized a stocking for each member of the family and have some close ups to share with you all too :)

Mummy's Stocking, 1st cab off the rank and well let's face it ...
It's all about me! :P

Daddy's the 2nd in charge around here so his stocking is next in line.

Chloe's is next, the other princess in the house and the next biggest ego with 'It's all about me!' syndrome.

Dylan comes in next to bat for the boys again and even up the color combo.

Last but not least is the carefree and adorable floating fairy Emilie.

Graphic 45 papers again at play here!  Thought it was about time I stopped stashing them and used them, and these are all from collections released in 2011.  I could not go past my Prima box of goodies and raided my stash for all the embellishments on the toes of the stockings.  I didn't use them sparingly either!  My Prima stash was actually a very lucky find at a scrapbook closing down sale and a bargain!  The Prima stand was fully stocked plus some more and I jokingly offered the lady 100 bucks for the lot and she said YES! OMG my jaw hit the floor, my wallet opened so fast, everything was off the stand and in the boot of my car in under 5 minutes.  And even though the lady was ever so kind and helped me pull everything off the stand and pack it nicely into boxes (there was 4 huge boxes), I was so worried she was going to change her mind lol.

Surprisingly I love to haggle (daddy is even worse!) but of all my 'crafty finds' my Prima stash would be the best.  This find was just over a year ago before we moved to Perth and let's face it, I craft a lot, we could say at least one card a week and I always dig into my Prima embellishment stash and I have not even made a dint in it yet!

We would love you to play along with us at
The challenge theme is optional, the only real rule is you must create a new Christmas Holiday, winter or Hanukkah card / creation.

I hope I see you there :)
Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)

Mornings all :)
It is time again for a new challenge at

This week the challenge is ...
Texture

I am sooo in love with this card, turned out way better than what I had in my head! (don't you love those moments) lol  I've made a personal challenge with myself as well and am using up and finishing a full packet of Rub On's and this image along with the 'Joy' sentiment are from an already opened Kaisercraft pack.  The bottom layer has been script embossed and then had a little ink distressing over it with TH Distress Inks.  The music DP is Graphic 45, bead spray and flower is from my Prima stash along with ribbon and twine from my stash of goodies.

As always the girls and I would love if you played along with us at

Summer Vaction @ The Crafty Pad

Beautiful Morning to you all!

Sunday has rolled around again and it is time for a new challenge at
The Crafty Pad!

This week it is Rachel's turn and she has picked
#183 - Summer Vacation
Nothing screams summer more to me than a bucket and spade so I used The Crafty Pad Designs Summer Seaside Bucket and shell for my project today.

I went pretty neutral with just a splash of color today in the image that is colored with Spectrum Noir Pens.  I am still suffering my addiction to Kraft so there is some of that in there too and some papers from my Birthday. I am really happy with how this card finished, specially as when I started I had no plan of attack lol love those days Mojo just plays and things pull together :))

The Team B girls have all outdone themselves this week so
please do drop by and check out their amazing creations!
We would love if you played along with us!

We have a FAB sponsor this week too!
Who has kindly donated this prize pack!

#174 Stars @ Creative Belli -GDT

Good morning all!
I'm a very lucky girl today!

I am a Guest over at

The challenge this fortnight is ....
#174 - Stars
you must have 1 or more stars on your project

If you are not familiar with the Creative Belli Challenge
The spirit of the Belli challenges is to encourage you to use your OLD and FORGOTTEN embellishments!

So with old and forgotten in my mind for this challenge, I knew I had to go rummaging through my chipboard stash and pull out one of the Kaisercraft Stars that I brought back when Noah built the ark.  Stars just scream Christmas to me so that is where Mojo took me.  And on finding my way out of the back room I stopped and raided my box of Prima flowers and stash of Christmas decorations, so everything for this project was stuff I had on hand and nothing was purchased! So love those projects!

As mentioned above, I raided the old Christmas decoration box and from there I found the Angel, the flowers, butterfly and other embellishments are all Prima, and the sentiment was computer generated.  I inked distressed the edges of the star with TH Distress Inks, added a little brown ribbon from my stash to hang the star with and now, I just have to decide weather to hang this on the front door or in the hallway once Christmas is nearer.   I am so in love with the finish of this little piece and so happy that this one I do not have to part with lol

The Beli Girls and I would love if you played along with us too!  We would love to see your creations featuring a star or more so be sure to link them up and play along with us :))

Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)

Sunny Side Up!

Finally Sunday has lived up to its name and has brought the sun out! Yay!
I have been waiting all weekend for the weather to clear up to take some photos of this card.
So with out any further ado ... On with the show.

With the miserable and cold weather we have been having I really felt like something bright, cheery and sunny and as I am soo in love with these Country Home papers from  Raspberry Road I just could not resist playing with them.  Threw in a Prima flower & vine squiggly from my stash, the lace from Nana's box along with the too gorgeous sparkly ribbon, a bit of stitching around the edges and hit it all with some TH Distress inks and voila! I was happy I didn't go do the housework :))

I love these papers so I really did not want to cover them with heaps of embellishments so this is a little C&S for me but I am soo in love with it that I really don't mind lol .

Thanks for dropping into see me today :))
