New Release & WIN @ Inspired Stamps

Mornings :)

I am really excited to share my Inspired Stamps card with you all this week!
Why ???
 Cause it is
 and WOW! Do we have some great new stamps in the store today!

I was given the new Type Writer Font in both Caps and small font to play with and ideas just overflowed with what to do with them!

I have been itching to make a Menu board for the family and the Type Writer font stamps were just what I needed to get the job done!

This Menu Board has taken pride and place on the buffet in the kitchen.  Not only am I so much more organised, but the whole family is no longer constantly nagging me all afternoon on what is for tea!  Seriously! I should have made one of these years ago!

We have a great range of NEW STAMPS and ...

Free your imagination & Sparkle Challenge @ Visible Image

Mornings people :)

Being a Saturday I am sailing in with some
goodness to share with you all!

Have you checked out the THREE NEW STAMP sets
that were released this week at Visible Image

Today I am getting inky again with just one of them ...
Free Your Imagination!

I truly {heart} this set!
I don't know if it is the grunge, the splatters, the birds, or even the quill with this set; but something just draws me to it and I KNOW I am going to get inky & messy & have some wickedly good fun!
 And with the 'SPARKLE CHALLENGE' running this month at Visible Image; inky sparkles were running through my head for this card ;)

Oh the fun you can have with rubber stamps and ink!
Here is a run down of all the ones I got inky with
Sentiment Circle - Splattered bird and sentiment from Free Your Imagination Set
The grunge around the edges of the sentiment - Are tree edges from the largest tree in the Tree Trio Set
Polk Dot Designer Paper - That is handmade with the Grunge Poka Dot Background
The brown strip of  DP - Made with the gorgeous Grunge Flourish

Close up of the circle sentiment.

Wrought Iron Corner close up. - It is a great stamp to 'bling' up!

Close up of the lush bow, handmade posh pins & DP made with the Grunge Poka Dot Background.

Side view of the textures goings on.

I forget how much fun it can be to get the rubber stamps out and have inky fun!  I loved just cruising along & playing while making this.  I used the embossing resist technique for the Polka Dot Grunge Background & the Grunge flourish piece - two great pieces of paper just randomly created that soon one thing just lead to another thing & it turned into a card.  I don't think my imagination can much free-er than that!

I have recently rediscovered my stashed box of feathers & could not resist adding the red polka dot ones, the lace from my stash was originally white & given new life with the help of my Spectrum Noir pens & the bling ... I am still trying to clear out the mass of sparkles in that box!  I swear it is never ending!

All the delicious stamps I have used today can all be found at the
You can get your Visible Image stamps from {here}
Check out some of the amazing creations the DT have made on the blog {here}

New Release @ Visible Image

Good mornings!

Do you know what today is ???
This is no ordinary Saturday!
Today is the launch day for the new releases at
Visible Image!

 Hot off the press and now available in the shop is THREE amazing new sets!
Free Your Imagination - Check it out in the shop {here}
Immortal Love - Check it out in the shop {here}
Beauty Is Art - Check it out in the shop {here}

I had to put my hand up to play with the gorgeous Free Your Imagination set!
This set just gets my creative juices ouzing
& my imagination running wild with ideas.

The first thing I thought of when I saw this set was a wonderful set of stationary!   And this set is PERFECT for the GUYS too!   Being they are so often 'neglected' in our crafts, today I am taking one for the boys!

 The front - Love the feather in this set!
There is actually 2! One large & a smaller one.

 The inside - Don't know what my camera was doing at this time :$
There is a paper pad with the smaller feather stamped & a pocket for some envelopes.

 A peak at the envelopes,
again carrying through the smallest feather & the ink splatter.

 Close up of the front cover -
So adore the paint inky splatted bird, it is just magnificent!

 And a close up along the bottom of the feather &
the sentiment that comes with the Free Your Imagination Set.

 And the front again.

 As I wanted something masculine I used only Kraft Cardstock for this & really grunged it up with TH Distress inks and Stampin Up log cabin mist.  For texture I embossed the various stamps with clear embossing powder & antique sand.  From the scraps I made a 'close catch' for the file & used some brads that I covered in some more antique sand embossing powder. The stamps really say a lot in this piece & hold some impact & as I wanted to keep it masculine, I went with the bare minimum on embellishments.

This is only one idea on how to use this set!
The Visible Image Dream Team have put together a great variety
of samples of all THREE of the New Releases so pop on over to the
Visible Image Blog

New Release @ The Crafty Pad

Mornings beautiful peoples :)

I am sailing in this morning to showcase to you ...
Crafty Pad Designs ...
October New Releases!
And your chance to win these!

Christmas is right around the corner and our lovely boss lady has been busy on the drawing board to help us all cater for the season with THREE gorgeous new images!

First up is Christmas Pine Cones & Holly {here}
Oh la la ! I {love} this image!
And instantly am thinking about Christmas just looking at it!

Next up we have the Christmas Tree Trio! {here}
Loving this fun and hip image too!
This would be a great image to paper pierce!

And last but not least,
We have the Christmas Baubles! - In 3 color sets!

Green and Red Baubles {here}

All gorgeous don't you agree?

So which one captured my heart for the release ?
I fell in love with all of them! but the Gold & Silver Christmas Baubles really took my breath away and inspired me to try my hand at altering / decorating a candle so here we go!

 I have tried this in the past and it was an epic fail!  My printer seemed to be too heavy handed and would constantly rip my tissue paper.  I recently brought some crepe paper for another project and a little light bulb went off in my head to try using this instead as it seemed 'less delicate' so ... I did and it worked!  Dear hubby looked at me like I was a looney jumping all over my craft room all ecstatic but hey ho :)

I bling-ed the design up a little by adding some tiny pearls around the snowflake / star border and down the bauble chain.  A touch of gold ribbon wrapped around the base and wella!  I now have a gorgeous candle ready for the Christmas table that is just going to look delightful!

Now ... I know I have taken your breaths away with my little candle lol

September Sneak Peak Week @ Inspird Stamps

Terrific Tuesday folks!

It is an exciting day today with the start of the
 SNEAK PEAK WEEK!

There is some gorgeous new stamps due to hit the store this week at noon on Friday and we are so excited that all orders that total $25.00 or more in product will receive a free $3.99 Scripture Stamp of their choice!  Pop on over to the Inspired Stamps Blog for all the dets!

That ‘s the news out of the way, so onto what I have been playing with this week!  The moment I picked up the September New Release packet I knew I wanted to play with the 1 Corinthians Scripture – Love Is.  Ideas flew into my mind instantly so Mr Mojo and I got down and crafty and had some fun !

 Another card I have fallen in love with (I so have to stop that habit lol)  All the pieces I pulled from my scraps baskets, the hearts are a punch that I coved with fluffy heat emboss white paint (another addiction of mine at the moment) & gave them a light distress with some TH inks.  The twine I twisted together some white and red to make the candy strip and brushed some mod pod over to help it keep its form and then threaded on some beads, again from my stash and for something a little different I did some two tone stitching in red and white around the edge.

is sharing all the sneak peeks that will be released on Friday so pop on over to see the amazingly adorable creations from the other girls too!
We would love if you called past and shared some love with us!
