Christmas in March with Crafty Ann's Challenge

Fabulous Friday to you all!

Lets kick start the weekend by crafting along to this fortnights challenge with
#62 - Christmas In March
I think we are all a little guilty of never quite being fully prepared for Christmas when it approaches so why not take the challenge with us this week and make an early head start on those Christmas cards or gifts so when December rolls around this year, you can sit back, pick up a drink and for once, not be one of those madly insane people you see running around at the last minute trying at best to get yourself into gear and organized for the SILLY SEASON!

With Christmas usually ending up being more expensive than a joyous occasion on the wallet I have started doing my usually and began stocking up on pressies and gifts that I have spotted on sale through out the year.  This gorgeous paper pierced snowman cracker and matching tag made the perfect packaging for a necklace that is for Ben's mum this year.  I usually don't start my pressie wrapping till closer to Christmas but this year I seem to have two little gremlins who have started exploring what goodies are hidden in my bedroom cupboards and I think it is a good way to take even more of the Christmas rush out of the equation.

This little snowman fellow is of course the gorgeous guy from Crafty Ann's Digi Shop.  There are some very versatile images of this little guy in the shop from being a single image to being in a snow-globe and also a decoration, so there is lots of ideas for him along with other stunningly gorgeous Christmas images so please do stop by the shop for a look.

By playing along with us this week you will be in the running to win
2 digi images, 1 Backing paper collection and 1 pre-coloured sheet of your choice from the gorgeous Crafty Ann's!

Thanks for dropping by to see me this week and I wish you all a crafty weekend!

Cute and Cuddly with Moving Along With the Times

Good morning folks!

Wow these weeks are flying by!

It is time for another new challenge with the girls at

This week it is Debs turn to pick the theme and she has chosen a beauty!
Cute And Cuddly!
Who doesn't love teddy bears and all creatures you just want to snuggle!

This week I had a play with Miss Virginia a freebie from the gorgeous Beccy at Beccy's Place

I had to go all the way with this one and decorated from the front to the back using some gorgous Kaiser papers.  Miss Virginia has been colored with Spectrum Noirs, the flower is Prima and the metal gold scrolls are left over from a Christmas decoration I pulled apart from another project and the sentiment was computer generated.

This week we have a fabby sponsor!

I love to go shopping at Di's Digital Downloads, she has lots of gorgeous images!
So play along for your chance to win some!

As always,
the girls on the team have all done some super snuggly and adorable works this week so pop on by the Moving Along With The Times
blog and check them out!  I am sure they will give you plenty of inspiration to play along with us!

Anyway's, thanks for dropping in on me and I hope you like what you see :)

Some Bunny Loves you or a Skecth at The Crafty Pad

Afternoon folks!

Forgive me for being late with this post :$ Seems Mr Blogger not so kindly decided to delete it inplace of posting it! Glad I doubled checked that it posted otherwise goodness know when I would have noticed!

Being Sunday, it is time for a new challenge at

This is week should be a fun one for you all to play along too!

Yep, you have the choice of following the theme or you can follow the sketch AND if you do both (like I have done) you will get 3 chances into the prize draw!!!

This week I have been having a play with The Craft Pad Bunny Fun on Log  image!  I think these guys are sooo cute!   I also got a little creative and made a cute carrot treat holder filled with eggs for a nice gift too.

If you would like to play along to the sketch this week
here it is!

Or you can just play along to theme if you would like,
and show us some bunnies!

This week our sponsor is ...
The lovely Joanna Sheen!
A £10 voucher to spend in the online store.

I hope you do drop by The Crafty Pad Challenge Blog and peak at all the DT work.  They have some delicious creations to share with you all.  And I look forward to you all joining us in the challenge this week :))

Thanks for dropping in on me and I hope you like what you see :)

***EDIT*** I have had a few comments regarding the carrot - It was cut using a Silhouette Cameo and this pattern is also from them (under the 3D items and it's called carrot box).  I did do a google and found heaps of carrot box tutorials and patterns out there that you can just print and cut for those that don't have a Silhouette machine.  I'm just somewhat lazy and perfectionist with cutting out if I can get the Silhouette to do it :$

Easter Wishes with Moving Along With The Times

Good morning all!

Thursday again! and it is time for a new challenge with

This week it is the lovely Lisa's turn to choose the challenge and she has chosen a beauty for us this week with

Easter Wishes!

I had some stitching rainbow fun with this one this week and stepped out of my 'style' zone to try something different.  I loved having a play with some colors that normally would not rate on my radar and I love how my card turned out :)) Wanna see??? Here it is!

I also got to play with a new image called Cindy Ears from Digi My World
A very big thanks to
for sponsoring the challenge this week and also giving the DT some images to play with!
For something a little more different for me I also stayed clear of the DP this week and instead, got my big shot and cuttle bug folder out.  This was a great card to use up lots of those scrap on as well so I ticked plenty of the boxes on my new years resolution of not letting dust settle and collect on my crafty goodies that seem to get forgotten and neglected.

With Easter just around the corner why not take this opportunity and make a start on your Easter cards and come and join us over at

Thanks for dropping into see me today :))

Spring into Spring with Crafty Ann's Challenge

Oh Thank goodness it is Friday!!!
It has been a long long week and I am so so so happy it is Friday and tomorrow is bringing me a sleep in! (well deserved after a week of 3 and 4 am starts! (not by my choice trust me)

It is also time for a new challenge with

This week is challenge
We want to see spring or Easter themed creations this week.  That means flowers, fresh bright colors or your eggs and chicks :))

I could not resist having a play with Crafty Ann's new Host of Garden Daffodils and I mixed it up with Butterfly Sheet 1.

I am so in love with this DP that I did not want to cover it up with layers and layers.  It is actually from a paper pad book I brought ... Hmmm... that long ago I do not remember (so over a good year).  I could not resist having a play with my new flower soft 'peony' that I got from Joanna Sheen while *cough* browsing the net the other day (hmmm so that is how my new Spectrum Noir pens and jazzy new stuff all just arrived lol

I had a play with my new Stampin Up dazzling diamonds on the butterfly, yes I have been doing a little shopping of late :$  More than fair! Have not brought anything since I moved over to Perth and that is now 5 months so my crafty bank balance is rather healthy or I should say wise lol :)

Well, I can feel a card beginning in my bones so I'm going to love you and leave you here.
We do hope you will all take the challenge this week with us!
Be sure to pop by Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog
and come and have a play with us too!

Thanks for dropping into see me today :))

Special Lady Challenge @ Moving Along With The Times

Good Morning Folks!

I have some super duper exciting news today!

My DT application with
was a success!
*happy happy joy joy*

Today is my first card with the team and this week it is the lovely Pami's turn to pick the challenge and she has chosen .....

Special Lady
(So we would like to see a Card for Mother's Day or any special lady eg Auntie, Sister, Nan, Best Friend, etc, etc)

We have a fabby sponsor this week too!
The DT were lucky to get some images to play with and I had a play with Rose for Mum and this is what I managed to put together.  I was aiming for white on white, but alas as per normal for me, it needed some more color and out came the pink ink pad! lol

For me this is a little clean and simple, but I like the result and it was nice to keep things minimal for once. The embossing folder I have had since forever but never used and the punch for the border is also another item in the craft room that should be brought out more often.

This little honey is off to my sweet sister back over in Queensland for Mother's Day (ohh I miss her so much :'(  We have a little family joke that she is my kids other mummy so it seemed appropriate to sign the card from the kids :)

Now, I have had the pleasure of having a peak at what the other girls have been up too and trust me! You DO NOT want to miss out on the inspiration they have lined up for you! So pop on over to the MAWTT Challenge blog HERE and play along with us this week :))

Thanks for dropping into see me today :))

Mums the Word at The Crafty Pad

Super Sunday All!

Wow! Can you believe how fast this year is going!

Anyway, onto the good stuff and why you are all here.

Time for a new challenge at

This week is an  easy peasy one for you all

Challenge  #161 - Mum's the word
It can be a Mother's Day card, Birthday card, something for your Grandmother, so long as your creation has the word MUM or mother somewhere on it.

I took the opportunity of getting one of my the many mothers day pressies out of the way and made something extra special for my Mother In Law :)

Lots of photos this week again!
I am so in love with this and if it was in any other color mix I would be keeping it for ME!.  I will say though, I NEVER want to roll another ribbon rose in my lifetime!  But it was well worth the effort though I think :)

This week I am using the hot new release in the shop today from
 The Crafty Pad Designs
Tea Set and Tea Set Sentiments
You can check yours out of the shop HERE
I colored my image today with Tombow Markers, added some great touches of bling to the card with red and black pearls a red and black feather and a posh pin.  The mum sentiment is a rub off from my stash that I brought over a year ago and still have not used so I thought is was about time.

The cup is full of fabric roses that I sewed and rolled while watching TV, added in some big red pearls and pearl wisps for a bit of flair and the gorgeous bird I picked up at Spotlight on an impulse buy, it falls into that saw it had to have it category :) I am sure you all know the one :P

 This weeks sponsor is
Creative Craft World has very kindly offered a
£5 voucher to spend in their shop
Thank you Creative Craft World!

Please do pop by
The Crafty Pad Challenge Blog and check out the amazing works of the DT.  This week the new Team B girls are making their debut and they have plenty of works to inspire you all!

We would love if you played along with us too!
And do pop by the Crafty Pad Designs Store and check out the new images.
You will not be disappointed I promise!
