Going Dotty @ Moving Along With The Times

Mornings all!
Thursdays always bring a thrill around here!
As it is brings a new challenge at ....

I also have some news to share with you today :(
It has been a really busy last few months for me,
and I have an even busier new year planned with
returning to work full-time, so after much thought, tossing and turning,
I have decided to step down from the team :(

I love the cabbage patch of nutters over there so I will still be playing along with them whenever I get the opportunity too!  They are a fantastic bunch of girls to work with and I thank them and Hazel for inviting me onto the team!  I have had a blast and made some great friends that I will never forget and hope to visit and drop in on often!

Talking about Dream Teams to work with!
Moving Along With The Times
is also holding a DT call!
You can check out all the dets HERE!
Go on ... check it out!  You will not find a better patch of folks to work with!
I'm seriously tempted right now to delete my post and take back my resignation! Cause these girls ARE that nice!

You are also here for a challenge!
So ... This week Claire is challenging the team to ...
Let's go Dotty!
We wanna see spots / dots!

This is an easy challenge!  So I am sure you are all up for it and will play along!

Now ... I warn you, with my card this week ...
You may need a paper bag as you are likely to hyperventilate!
I have gone ...
Clean and Simple this week!

Yeah baby!  That is ONE layer!
OMG!  I struggle to breath now just looking at this! :)

See! I can shock you all every-now and then lol
And hey!  After all!  It is nice to go out with a BANG!

I do love Clean and Simple, specially when everyone else does C&S.  I myself just can not do C&S!  I always end up adding on more and more and more!  But I do love this card and it was a really nice challenge for myself that I think I am going to have to really challenge myself like this more often!

The gorgeous image and sentiment is Snow Mom from Stitchy Bear Digital Stamps, I have colored her with Spectrum Noirs (another thing I am challenging myself with in this card) and I do love how she colored up!  For her snow pom pom I have used clear stickles and for the fluff on her hat and coat some white 3d fabric paint.   For some dotty-ness I printed out with the image the dotted border and have also added some snowflakes with liquid pearls.

 Stitchy Bears Digital Stamps
are also sponsoring our challenge this week!
And there is a fabulous prize up for grabs!

And the Moving Along With The Times girls
have gone a little spotty too this week
so be sure to pop on over and see the girls!
They would love if you called past!

With a heavy heart I bid you all a farewell! :(
And thank you greatly and muchly for calling past to see me today :)

Seeing Stars @ Moving Along With The Times

Mornings all!
It is time to get excited!
There is a new challenge at ....

This week I am the hostess with the mostess and I challenge you all to ....
Seeing Stars!

With Christmas round the corner you can make a Christmas card, Birthday card, whatever!  I just wanna see stars!

This week our fabulous sponsor is ...
and I have had some fun playing with Molly fairy 4 & 5!

I have been playing alot with 'less is more' lately and the style is growing on me (I still love my shabby vintage and over embellished too! don't worry lol). With Chloe starting school this past year I have found an extra need to keep some 'little girl cards' in stock so this is one for the Chloe's party's pile!

I let Chloe pick the image and she loved Molly Fairy and I got to do some well overdue coloring practice with the Spectrum Noirs.  I added a little glitter sparkle to her wings, raided my stash of ribbon, lace and jewels and I also did the inside and used Molly fairy inside as well.  I do love how this finished (even if it there is alot of WHITE SPACE even for me) and better yet, Chloe loves it so no doubt one of her little friends will too :)

There is a fabby do prize up this week from the loveable
Stamp Fairy!
So please do link up and play along!
We would love to see you!

The MWATT girls are all seeing stars this week and have some LUSH creations to share with you so pop over and see them and share some love with them too!

Spotlight Technique @ MAWTT

Mornings all!
It is Thursday and that means ...
A new challenge at

Sue is in the Hot Seat this week and the challenge is ...
Spotlight Technique!

Something a little different!
And not something I have ever played with before - could be interesting! lol
So here we go!

I am not sure on the 'offical' rules for this technique.  My understanding of it is to make part(s) of the image standout.  I tried with only 1 spotlight but it was lacking color to me :( so I added another lol (because I can!)  I have also taken my 'spotlights' and given them a dose of Tim Holtzs clear rock candy.  I brought this back in July and still have not played with it so it was about time it saw the light of day and some experimenting was done!

The image has been colored with Spectrum Noirs and is the gorgeous Flowers and watering can (I have edited out the watering can) from the ever fabulous The Crafty Pad Designs.  I do love this image!  It is a great purchase as you can have 3 in 1 images - the image as it is, the flower pot or the watering can!  Love value for money!

Anyways, The Crafty Pad is also sponsoring the challenge this week!

And we have a great prize up for grabs!
So be sure to link up and play along for your chance to win!

And as always, the MAWTT girlies have been up to some crafting fun and have some adorable creations to share with you too so drop by

Too Cute Too Spook @ MAWTT

Mornings all!
It is that time again!
Time for a new challenge at

Debs is challenging us this week with ...
Too Cute Too Spook
We wanna see cute Halloween!

Halloween is actually not a big tradition / celebration in Australia.  As a child I never went trick or treating nor did any of the kids in the street.  I never saw shops decorate their windows for the occasion either.  But as time goes on (and I get older) it seems to be beginning to make it's mark on our culture and a few people (or should I say children and retail business) are beginning to embrace the idea.   Hubby has always been a stick in the mud in regards to this tradition too but as I have a hallway table to decorate with 'the current season', the kids and I have voted that this year we are decorating for Halloween (I say decorating as I draw the line at trick or treating, but have promised the kids a little something special treat on the night).

So to get the table started, every witches haunted house needs a spooky cute hat!

I was having a thing for red, black and white this day :$  The paper hat is made from Graphic 45 Papers from the Wizard Of Oz range, it has faint spider webs all over it, so I thought it appropriate for the occasion and it has been in my stash since last year so it's about time I stopped 'saving it'.  The lace and the ribbon is from my stash and the flowers are homemade from silk with beads sewn into the center.  The beady blingy swirly's are also homemade using the same beads used in the flower centers with some white wire and glue gun.  I am so in love with this piece and can not wait to get the hallway table set up!  I think it is going to look excellent and I think I may even have DH slightly excited as he has asked for a wizards hat on the table!!!

are sponsoring us this challenge!
This is a great prize as she has some adorable images!
The MAWTT girls have some too cute samples to share with you too so please pop over and check out their adorable creations over at

Alice Inspired @ Moving Along With The Times

Good Mornings all!
Time for a new challenge at

Hazel is in the hot-seat this week challenging us with ...
Alice Inspired
So that would be anything to do with Alice from Alice in Wonderland!

Ohh I have not watched this movie in forever!
But the one thing that instantly comes to mind is ...
painted red roses!
So Mr Mojo and I got creating!

The dream team were given some wonderful images
to play with from our super sponsor this week ...

I used the image from the Alice In Wonderland part II Set and colored it up with a mix of Copic markers & distress inks. The papers are from the Kaisercraft Black & White Timeless pad & I vintage-d them up some more with TH inks and some distressing around the edges.  The twine I found hidden in my stash with the chain and the rolled ribbon roses.  I really wanted a 'grunge' kind of feeling to this so I also took pen to the card and did some doodling around the image (got to do more doodling in my work - It was fun!)

Anyways ...
We would love you to come down the rabbit hole with us this week!
So pop on over to
and check out the WONDERFUL creations the girls have all been busy making
and play along with us !

Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)

Tag It @ Moving Along With The Times

Mornings all :)

Pami is the host this week at

And she has picked a great challenge for us all ....
Tag it!

You may remember a few weeks back when I shared my Spectrum Noir Pen holder storage unit {here}.  Well today I am adding to this little set a color chat for all my pens.

You can print the offical color chart off the Spectrum Noir website, but I find the chat really hard to line up against my papers ect as they have the color families all over the place.  I love my Kaiser Color Chart so I tried to replicate something similar.

I used Stitchy Bear Stamps - The Graduate for  my project cover.  This lives on the side of my pen holder and it works perfectly!  It is so easy to match my pens to my papers and ribbon now!  Not every match is perfect but it is way better than what I was working with before.  I also love that I can add more cards to the set when I find my ideal color combos for flesh and hair colors ect so it is a work in progress as I explore this new world of coloring with alcohol inks!

Stitchy Bears Stamps
is also sponsoring us this challenge with
a great voucher to their online store!
Stitchy has loads of stamps available and there is something for everyone in her store so pop on over for a look!

The MAWTT girls have some WOWing creations so pop on over to
and check out the talented girls and share the love!
I so would love to see you playing along with us this week too!

Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)
