While I should have been sleeping

Wowzers what a night I had :(

Little Miss Emilie - Feeling like crap but still able to smile :))

The Little Miss Emilie (1 yr old) is still a little germ and instead of improving which I thought should be happening by at least this stage, I think she is getting worse.  We are heading into day 11 of having the vomits and diarrhea and I am thanking the lord that today is our Doctors appointment!   I still cannot believe I have had to wait 7 days to get an appointment to see my Doctor and was so rudely told by the receptionist that I need to make an appointment a week in advance to see him! Really ... If I knew I or the children were going to be ill in the next 7 days I not only would make the appointment but with my powers of foreseeing the future would also buy Saturdays winning lotto ticket! Ridiculous some people are!

So with Little Miss Emilie up till 4am! (Yes my eye balls are hanging out of their sockets this morning) And at about midnight I gave up going back to bed for all of 15 minutes sleep between her stirrings and decided I could at least try and do something constructive.

This usually works in two ways at times like these.  Either I am too tired and it all ends in a mess ... Or my mojo manages to pull itself together and gets a groove going.  Well... least my mojo was on my side last night!  And wella! She pulled this wall hanging together to add to the stash of Christmas pressies for this year.

lol Yes that is a Krispy Kreme Donut Box :$ What can I say ... I got the muchies it was 4am and a girl cannot live on coffee alone !

This is stunning! I love the distressing on the sentiment and frame. The flowers are just gorgeous. What a sweet little metal bird and the crystals go perfect with the card.

wow this is just beautiful! You have such a talent!

Sorry to see that your little one has been so poorly, if ever faced with a little one that is being sick for more than 24hrs you should get an emergency appt and take no notice of ANY receptionist who stands in your way.
I was the same as you when mine were young and I soon realised sometimes, you dont get a second chance. Its so hard knowing what is the best thing to do at times. I do hope Emilie is soon right as ninepence again and you can get some decent sleep!

Thanks for playing along with us this week at Delicious Doodles.

So sorry to hear you poor little one is under the weather. It's no fun when they're ill is it! I agree entirely with the lady above. You have to stand your ground with doctors receptionists especially when children are involved. If you make some noise they will listen, believe me!!
Your hanging is gorgeous, your mojo certainly works well on lack of sleep.
Thanks so much for joining us at The Stampman this time.

Hope your baby is better soon! I know what it's like to be refused by the primary care doctor...How the heck are you supposed to plan illnesses? I hardly ever go to the doctor but NOW I go to a walk in clinic as my primary doctor since I seem to inconvenience my pc...UGGHH...Great sentiment on your card! Thanks for playing in the WoodwareUSA challenge this week. Good luck!
