Bows & GDT / DT Call @ Christmas Card Challenges

Good Mornings Beautiful People!
Being Sunday, it is time for a new challenge at

Christmas Card Challenges!

And this week’s theme is one of my favourites ....
Bows!
*squeal!!!* I am getting all giddy thinking about it ;)

Remember the challenge theme is optional, the only real rule is you must create a new Christmas Holiday, winter or Hanukkah card / creation.

I try and tackle challenge themes with the 1st thing that comes to mind and mentioning the word BOWS, presents under the tree is what pops into my mind. All of them dressed in gorgeous paper(s) lush ribbon(s) adored with big beautiful bows! Ohhh sounds like every child (and big kids) dream!

So for this week challenge to celebrate bows and how you can incorporate some stamping into your gifting packaging, I am sharing with you a pressie that is all ready to go under the Christmas tree for this year.

We all know me, I adore anything ‘vintage’ so for this I have taken some simple brown paper (you can buy this anytime of the year and it is cheap!) inked up the stamp and gave it a coat of Zing white embossing powder & then adorned the gift with a lush double bow and big sparkly button.

Simple, quick, easy and result ...
I think ...is exquisitely beautiful!
Not bad for what was once just a piece of boring old piece of brown paper!
And what a way to get some more use of your stamps!
I am sure the recipient is going to love the extra touches that have gone into this ‘just a box of chocolates’.

The Christmas Card Challenge girls and I would love to see how you are inspired by bows so please drop on by the Christmas Card Challenges Blog, take in the delectable inspiration the girls have got on offer for you and come along and play with us :)

Ohhh and before I forget
Christmas Card Challenges are also holding a DT call!
CCC comes to a close at the end of November and they are calling for their 2013 Dream Team!
And also requesting GDT's for next year!
Being on the team is a great way to make a head-start on all your Christmas cards!
You can find all the details {here

Now ... I think I might just go get inky and make a matching tag to go with this!
Thanks for dropping in to see me today!
