Girly Girly Prim & Propper @ Moving Along With The Times

Mornings all :)

Judith is the host this week at

And she has picked a great challenge for us all ....
Girly Girly but Prim & Proper

I've been itching to make something to store my new Specrtum Noir Pens in so I combined it with this weeks challenge and .... wella an idea was born!
(I got a little snap happy!)
Spectrum Noir Pen Holder

Different view

I have a few odd promarkers and copics and they live on the side in a little box.

I am sure I will find something to stash on this side lol

A view from the top!  As it is only made from cardboard I thought I should decorate the top and that will hopefully deter my putting things ontop of it.

View of the shelves with some of the pens out.  The shelves are a little wonky (it is only made with cardboard after all), but it does the job and I like the shabby feel to it.

Another view looking down.

And the other side looking down!
(I did warn you I got snap happy lol)

Ok, this is a dramatic improvement to the old ice cream tub that these pens were living in!  I pulled this together from just a plan on paper.  The cardboard is the heavy duty stuff that I have recycled from old boxes and packaging, it was extremely hard to score and fold for the sides and why it went a little 'scewif'.  The whole piece has some serious tape and glue in it all so it is not about to fall down and collapse and to cover all that 'mess' I then covered it all with paper.  The whole piece is sitting on a Kaisercraft wooden plaque and the additional boxes on the side are also Kaisercreaft.  All the embellishments are raided from my stash (still after this serious over embellishment job it still needs some more workouts! )

Even if it is a little wonky here and there I am still in love with the finished result and it has taken pride and place in the new craftroom :)

The MAWTT girls have some WOWing creations too so pop on over to
and check out the talented girls and share the love!

We also have a fab prize up for grabs from

That's awesome! I made similar self for my Promarkers but I haven't decorated it yet. I made half cm wide supports beams on middle of eash self but I probably should use stronger cardbord like you did.
Your marker starage looks so beautiful. Love it!
