Emboss Resist @ Christmas Card Challenges

Mornings all :)
It is time again for a new challenge at

This week the challenge is ...
Emboss Resist
The challenge theme is optional, the only real rule is you must create a new Christmas Holiday, winter or Hanukkah card / creation.
Emboss resist is a technique that I not do very often at all!  I had several failed attempts at this and finally managed to get something together that I liked!

Keeping with tradition I have been playing with my TH Distress inks as always.  I finally found a place on the www in Australia that stocks the real KRAFT! So when Mr postman delivered my parcel this week I was itching to have a play it!  The flourish stamp is actually a foam stamp from a set given to me by a friend when she cleaned out her stashed, sadly there is no info on the box of who is it made buy but it is great to finally use it.  The twine is also a newbie for me and is from The Twinery and it's the Cappuccino color that I have also used for the stitching (I've been doing little shopping lately lol).  The sentiment is a Kaisercraft Rub On from the Be Merry collection (I don't know about you but I have heaps of Run On's that I have never used as they are just so pretty!) and the pearls and bells are from my stash.

As always the girls and I would love if you played along with us at

I look forward to seeing you there!
Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)
