#177 It's Natural @ The Crafty Pad Challenge Blog

Good Morning Crafty Folks! 
It is time for a new challenge at ....
The Crafty Pad! 

So without further ado, lets gets to this weeks fun challenge
picked by our lovely Twinkle Toes Estelle!

#177 Natural 

We would love to see some Natural elements on your cards or projects - so think leaves, feathers, shells, twigs etc. The only limit is your imagination!

I am such a hoarder and do not through anything out! I have a stack of egg cartons that have been sitting in the corner of my craft-room since forever so I thought it was about time at least one of them got put to use!   A lick of spray paint, some gorgeous Stampin' Up papers, lace and odd embellies from my left over stash and some empty egg shells and a wella .... 

 

 The box closed, wrapped with twine and tag attahced.

Could not resist using  Flowers & Watering Can  available from Crafty Pad Designs, it just goes perfectly with this.

 Close up the embellies, there is some feathers, Kaisercraft flowers, left over large pink bloom and some pink bead flowers,pearl stamina's and all sitting on a wood fiber birds nest.

 This makes a great and inexpensive gift for any keen gardener!  I've planted flowers in my egg shells but a mixed selection of herbs would be another great idea and great for a house warming  or Christmas gift too! To get the seedlings started I popped some cotton wool in the bottom of the egg shells and sprinkled on the seeds and then just kept up on the watering.  And to transplant these into the garden is as easy peasy too! Just squash the egg to break it apart a little and pop it straight in the ground!
