Terrific Tuesdays to you all!
The mail man was ever so kind to me yesterday and my prize from the gorgeous girls at Sugar Creek Hollow arrived. This morning I was meant to be focusing on my altered project but I just could not resist playing with these new little beauties and the to die for seam binding! Again, Thank you greatly Sugar Creek Hollow!
I also had on my messy desk this weeks sketch from Stampin' Sisters in Christ with a few notes of challenges on at the moment like masculine, yellow ribbon, vacation, shabby chic, fussy cutting. You can see a full up to date list at Feline Playful just click right HERE!
I knew the Travel World stamps from TPC Studio I had received would make a great mans card and as hubby has always promised me one day we will get to Paris and London (for that Ohh La La Trip I hope it is children free! :P) I thought they would be a great excuse to make a card to let him know he is being missed and thought of.
While just stamping random images to look at their prettiness, I wished I had a postcard die. It clicked to me that while I don't have one, I DO HAVE fancy scissors and one with a little scallop that would give a faux postcard look! From there this card just came together perfectly. I kept the fancy scallop cutting going on all the layers to really give the 'stamp/ postcard' feature highlight throughout the card.
