Get Well Soon @ Moving Along With The Times

Terrific Thursday to you all!

Wow I can not believe this last month has gone so fast!
Sadly so :( Today is my last post as GDT with the very gorgeous girls at

I would like to just take a moment and say a very BIG thank you to all the girls for having me along for the past 4 weeks.  I have had a blast of fun playing along with you all and this week was no exception!
Thank you!

The challenge this week is one that I do not craft along to often so I really did love
The Challenge - Get Well Soon!

I have a crafty friend that is a little down at the moment with a case of shingles and as she is such a keen sewer as well I thought I would try my best to incorporate this into the theme of her card.  I have also taken another step towards my New Years resolution and tried my 1st attempt at a twisted easel card (so love this and there is going to be many more of these in the future)

Anyway, enough talk and on with some pics to inspire you all to play along this week!
(lots of pics this week as I am a little biased with how in love I am with this piece :$
I love the lose threads on all of this.  I admit I stumbled across the idea when one of my threads broke but it looked really effective that I then went and added lose threads randomly along all my stitching :$  Amazing how things become through crafting and mistakes isn't it? lol

A view with the tag out.

Close up of the top section.

Close up of the bottom section - Just love those button scissors and thimble!

 Side back view.

Another side view.

And to finish, another front view.

I know I have already said this but I really did enjoy making this card so much!  It was one of those cards that just came together so well and without much thought as everything I picked up just 'clicked' and gelled.  Don't you love those crafty days that go like that :)   The image is a freebie (I do not know where I got it from :$ and both the sentiment and tag I generated on the computer.  Flowers are mainly from my stash of Kaiser blooms and the paper is a leftover from another project.  Lace, ribbons and the blue ribbon rose buds are all from my box of Nana's sewing elements given to me when she went to play with angels.

This week Moving Along With The Times is gladly being sponsored by
She has some too cute images so be sure to play along this week
to be in the chance of winning some!

Be sure to pop on over to Moving Along With The Times this week and check out the beautiful works all the DT have made.  Wowzers is just a start to their talent they have shown with this challenge!

I hope you like what you see
and that you all find the time and come along and take the challenge with us :)
