Chocolate Wrappers

Of late I have been crafting for no particular reason, just putting paper onto paper and seeing what becomes.  I think that is why I am creating so many cards with so many versatile uses as I have no set 'theme' in mind while playing around.

I did however stumble across one very cool thing though.... I am one of those annoying lolly eaters that like to play with the wrapper from the sweet.  I was munching away on a box of Ferrero Rochers that were given to me for Christmas and this little light in my head flicked on and I though WOW what a stunning gold and look at the wrinkles in it and how it looks crumbled embossed and then the cogs just kept ticking ... wonder what it would look like if I did actually emboss it and from there, there was NO stopping me.

I had great fun playing around with these wrappers and of course ... at this point I was only eating ALL the chocolates just so I could pass them through the big shot lol (Well... that it what I am telling my waist line).

A close up of the plain wrapper and in the corner one I have embossed with a leaf stencil.

A close up of the leaf stencil embossed chocolate wrapper in the top left hand corner.

The image is a Crafty Pad digital stamp and it is a Freebie you can find here. Thank you The Crafty Pad!

Ohhh you reminded me of happy times when I was a little girl, carefully smoothing all the wrappings from Dairy Milk bars ... lurrrrved the shiny purple lol! ... and Quality Street chocolates to save in a wee tin. Wonder what happened to them LOL! Thank you for sharing your card with us at Bah! Humbug! although as Ann mentioned our challenges are Christmas themed.
