Summer Vaction @ The Crafty Pad

Beautiful Morning to you all!

Sunday has rolled around again and it is time for a new challenge at
The Crafty Pad!

This week it is Rachel's turn and she has picked
#183 - Summer Vacation
Nothing screams summer more to me than a bucket and spade so I used The Crafty Pad Designs Summer Seaside Bucket and shell for my project today.

I went pretty neutral with just a splash of color today in the image that is colored with Spectrum Noir Pens.  I am still suffering my addiction to Kraft so there is some of that in there too and some papers from my Birthday. I am really happy with how this card finished, specially as when I started I had no plan of attack lol love those days Mojo just plays and things pull together :))

The Team B girls have all outdone themselves this week so
please do drop by and check out their amazing creations!
We would love if you played along with us!

We have a FAB sponsor this week too!
Who has kindly donated this prize pack!
Included is 1 A4 sheet Glossy Nostalagia Toppers, 1 Set of Red Rubber Stamps,1 6x6 Book of Backing Papers

We would love you to play along with us and we hope to see you there :)

I have fallen in love with this!  This is for a friend who is having a little boy and the blues and browns just go perfectly together.  I went through my paper stash trying to find some baby DP and found I don't have any :$ so I made my DP with a little TH Distress Inks and in MS Word typed the 1st verse of Twinkle Twinkle little star repeatedly down and across the page (looks pretty good if I say so myself lol).  The sentiment is computer generated and the baby feet are from the New Baby Set, that I have colored with TH Distress Inks and added some glitter over the top.  I added the little bear charm, the flower from Kaisercraft (a leftover) and the wire bead spray is handmade.  All in all, I am one happy little girl :)

The Crafty Pad Girls have also been hard at work in their craft-rooms and have some special spectacular Sale creations to share with you too!   So hop to it and jump over to the The Crafty Pad Challenge Blog and give them a visit too!

Something New @ Christmas Card Challenges

Mornings all :)
It is time again for a new challenge at

This week the challenge is ...
Use Something New

Too easy! I pulled out some of my new stash from Stampin' Up! that includes my new brads and glitter embossing powders!

The front of the card slides in nicely behind the distressed edge on the bottom.

Being in the Stampin' Up! mood I also used their Swirl Christmas Tree, snowflakes and sentiment set.  The ribbon I pulled from my stash and mixed with the crochet trim that were off-cuts and left overs from a previous project and the inside piece has been punched with an EX Success swirl border punch.  The cardstock I found in my scraps and on the front I have stamped the snowflakes and then covered them with clear embossing powder.  And to add a little extra magic to the adorable snow swirl tree I added some mini pearls.

As always the girls and I would love if you played along with us at
The challenge theme is optional, the only real rule is you must create a new Christmas Holiday, winter or Hanukkah card / creation.

I look forward to seeing you there!
Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)

Summer @ MAWTT

Mornings all :)

It is that time again !  Time for a new challenge at

Sue is challenging us this week and she has picked ...
SUMMER

I'll be honest, it is NOT very summery here in Oz at all at the moment.
It is cold, it is wet, it is misserable and did I say wet?
Anyway, this is what I did this week....

This week we are being sponsored by the gorgeous
For one lucky random winner there is a prize of
5 digital images of their choice or 3 images and 1 digital paper pack.

Today I have used the gorgeous Beach Hut available from The Crafty Pad Designs! I love this image, it is a great dual image for both girls and guys and this card is off to my Father In Law for his birthday.  I have colored the image with Spectrum Noirs, the papers are from Authentique - Free Bird Collection and to keep it masculine and low fuss embellished with some twine and a simple charm.

As always, the
girls have some fabby inspiration to share with you all
so please do drop by and see them and share some of the love!

Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)

No Stamping @ Christmas Card Challenges

Mornings all :)
It is time again for a new challenge at

This week the challenge is ...
No Stamping
The challenge theme is optional, the only real rule is you must create a new Christmas Holiday, winter or Hanukkah card / creation.

Now, I always get a little muddled with challenges like this.
Is digital stamps still stamping ??? is it after all called a 'stamp'.

So to play this challenge theme totally safe and to really challenge myself, I totally avoided inking up any rubber and my printer.  I have a big ole draw of Rub-On's that are always neglected so now was the prefect time to dust them off and rub them off!

I reached for my new stash of Kraft again for this card.  I have slightly distressed along the edges with some TH Distress inks, added some gorgeous rich red stitching with DMC thread, a touch of ribbon and a bow topped with a handmade button that is embellished with 3 red beads.  The gorgeous pin is handmade and was a gift from my dear friend Debbie from The Crafty Pad for my birthday - I just adore the chain on it!  And the sentiment is a Kaisercraft Rubon from the Tis The Season Collection from my stash.

It is a little C&S for me but I can see this card being made a few more times as Christmas approaches as it is just so pretty and I am so in love with it, and the red and brown combo is just delicious!

As always the girls and I would love if you played along with us at

I look forward to seeing you there!

#181 Things with Wings @ The Crafty Pad

Good morning Beautiful people!

Sunday has rolled around again and it is time for a new challenge at
The Crafty Pad!

This week it is the delicious Debbi's turn and she has picked a theme that I am sure you are all going to love ...
#181 Things With Wings

I feel like I am repeating myself here but I just could not resist playing with The Crafty Pad's Butterfly and Verse Border set. I just adore this set! It is beautiful and so many ideas flood into my mind when I see it and today I used it for a card.

I just adore the swirly frame (that is a Marinne Design Creatable - LR0016, it is actually a rectangle die but I cut it twice in the bigshot, then cut both frames in half giving me 4 pieces and just cut off some swirls and played around with them around my diecut verse.  If you look real close at the top and bottom of the sides scrolls you can see where they overlap but it still looks good!

Lots of pearls today! The EK Success swirl punch even got a chance to come out and play and the papers, flower and twine are all from my scraps pile.  Feel a little sad at the blue paper down the side as it is the last piece from my last Stampin Up Spree and I just love the design!

Our wonderful sponsor this week is:
who is kindly offering £10 online Gift Voucher

While I feel like I could sit here and talk to you all day, that is it for me.
Do stop by and share some love with The Crafty Pad Girls, they have some stunning pieces of work to share with you and get you inspired as well.
We would love you to play along with us and we hope to see you there :)

Windows @ Christmas Card Challenges

Mornings all :)
It is time for a new challenge at

This week the challenge is ...
Windows
The challenge theme is optional, the only real rule is you must create a new Christmas Holiday, winter or Hanukkah card / creation.
Not going to lie, this one stumped me a little with what to do :$  So I went with something slightly nontraditional window-ey but yet I still managed 2 windows!

Neutral colors for me this week with two heart windows, a small simple flower, homemade pin and a touch of twine.  The large papers are Stampin Up' and the smaller squares are from my scraps stash.  I made this with hubby's card for the year in my mind so I wanted minimal embellishments and masculine with a touch of love-y dove-y.

The girls and I would love if you played along with us at

I look forward to seeing you there!
Thanks for dropping in to see me today :)
